For urgent cases (accidents, lost/stolen documents, etc.) after working hours and during weekends, Belgians can reach the Embassy in Tehran via the emergency number +98 912 105 22 01 (only via WhatsApp on Signal). You will not obtain visa information at this number.

Visa for journalists

Journalists who want to make a coverage in Iran must apply for a press visa at the Iranian embassy in Brussels and not a tourist visa. Due to the time-consuming procedure, this is preferably done at least one month in advance. After arriving in Iran, they must apply for a press card from the General Directorate of Press and Foreign Media of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance (Av. Gaem Magam Faranhi, Opposite Tehran Clinic Hospital, 8th Street, Building No. 8, Third Floor, Tel. 875 17 56 and 57.) They must communicate their programme in order to be able to carry out journalistic activities.

In order to issue this press card, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance needs a letter of introduction, issued by one of the following companies, in addition to that program:
